One BOTSJ finalist decided

The NJPW Best of the Super Junior tournament has its first semi-finalist. Kosei Fujita is the winner of A Block. On night ten, Fujita fought Clark Connors to secure his spot.

Connors spears Fujita from behind. When Fujita stands up after that Connors spears him from the front for a two count. Connors charges in. Fujita avoids him kicking him in the back. Connors taps out to Fujita’s submission.

With that win in the books, Fujita needed Robbie X to beat Hiromu Takahashi in the main event. Robbie did end up playing spoiler. He bit down on Hiromu’s hand, hits a cutter off the ropes said…”F–k him!”…and hit another one. He pinned Hiromu with the X Express Splash ending his tournament run. Kosei Fujita

“Get this in your little brain! I beat you! I just beat Hiromu! If you go on and win this thing and beat El Desperado you need to do what’s f—–g right and give me the first championship match!” said X challenging Fujita to his face.

Fujita agreed and Robbie flipped him off, because he is perpetually grumpy? Dunno.

Ninja Mack versus Dragon Dia

Mack missed his twisting splash off the top rope. Dia dives off the second rope. Mack just kicks him in the head for the 1,2,3. Ninja Mack and Dia are officially out of the tournament. Someone needs to bring on Mack full-time. He has a great persona and crazy moves.

Francesco Akira versus Kushida

Kushida catches Akira in the Hoverboard Lock. Akira flips that into a Ground Tarantula for the submission.

Yoshinobu Kanemaru versus Master Wato

Kanemaru locks in a figure four on Wato’s injured knee. Sho leaps onto the apron with his wrench in hand. As Sho distracts the official Kanemaru takes his whiskey bottle and smashes it over and over. Wato submits, of course. The House of Torture lay the boots to Wato. Yoh makes the save driving them off.
