Greetings and salutations! TNA is back with another TNA+ special and this time they are in Tempe Arizona at the Mullet Arena. Trick Williams will defend his World Title against Elijah. Santino Marella will be facing Robert Stone for control of TNA. With all of this and more, let’s go to Tempe for the action!

Countdown to Against all Odds


Ash, Heather, & M by Elegance vs. Xia Brookside, Harley Hudson, & Myla Grace


Ash did a lot of the work for her tam. In themiddle of the match, Grace with a Waistlock, but Ash reversed into the ropes, and the Personal Concierge hit Grace with a fork. Ash climbs to the top and connects with a Swanton for the win.

Winners: Team Elegance (Ash, Heather, & M by Elegance)

After the match, the Personal Concierge is in the ring and putting them over, but Team Elegance were interrupted by the return of the IInspiration (IIconics). Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee posed on stage to make clear that they want the Knockouts tag titles.


Tasha Steelz was worried about Jason Hotch and Hotch asked her to be in his corner. Mustafa Ali comes in and says that Order 4’s loyalty will be tested and then demands that Steelz be in his corner. Steelz called the mystery person again….

Steph De Lander comes out and talks down to the commentary team. She puts over the De Lander Warner Era, and how Mance Warner will be new International Champion tonight.

Out came Santino Marella and Arianna Grace to talk about the TNA Director of Authority match for tonight against Robert Stone. Out comes Robert Stone and he says when he wins, he’ll ban Santino from TNA, but he’ll keep Arianna Grace as his personal maid. Matt Cardona is out and is called the special guest referee since he is a free agent and Santino revealed that the Cobra is legal for this match.

TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin vs. Mance Warner


As the match goes on, De Lander grabs Maclin from the floor and Warner takes over. Maclin with an Olympic Slam, but Warner hits a neckbreaker at ringside. They battle and Maclin hits a Death Valley Driver on the ring apron. As the two battle up the top rope, De Lander with another distraction and this allows Warner to hit a Superplex. Maclin comes right back and hits a Crosshairs followed by a KIA to retain.

Winner: AND STILL Champion; Steve Maclin


Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Leon Slater, & mystery partner vs. Moose, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards, & Johnny Dango Curtis.


The mystery partner was revealed to be the Hometown Man, which was Deaner under a mask. Triple Twist of fate! The match was a 50/50 affair and Moose goes for two Spears, but on the second one, Slater counters and turns it into a roll-up to win (Slater just pinned the X-Division champion).

Gia Miller interviews Elijah and he is READY to bring the TNA title back home.


Mustafa Ali vs. Jason Hotch


John Skyler joins the commentary team for this match. Ali hits is not taking Hotch too serious in this match. Ali catches Hotch on a corner dive and hits a Snap German suplex. Ali with a Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker onto the edge of the apron. Back in the ring, Ali hits a low springboard cutter then a Tornado DDT off the top-rope. Hotch makes a small comeback and hits a Pele kick and a standing Spanish Fly. Ali distracts the ref, but Tasha Steelz refuses to cheat. Ali with a Satelitte DDT and a 450 splash. Now he is just plying with Hotch as Skyler is not angry with that decision. Ali goes for another 450 splash, but Hotch gets his knees up. Hotch tries charging at Ali, but Ali catapults him right onto the turnbuckles. Ali with one more 450 splash for the win.

Winner: Mustafa Ali

After the match, Ali confronts Skyler for helping Hotch. Ali wants to shake Hotch’s hand, but Ali pulls back and walks away.


We get highlights of the IInspiration’s return from the Countdown show. Gia Miller is joined by Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee. They say they’ve been gone from TNA for three years and the Elegance brand doesn’t dominate. They then say they are there to “IInspire.”

It’s time for the FIR$T CLA$$ Penthouse where Mike Santana was supposed to be the guest, but he hasn’t arrived to the building. A.J. Francis and KC Navarro remind us they cost Santana the TNA World Championship against Trick Williams this past Tuesday on NXT. Santana eventually comes back with a Baseball bat in hand. Santana Powerbombs Navarro through a table, but Francis hits Santana with a champagne bottle over his head.


Knockouts Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Lei Ying Lee


Lee with all the strokes. Lee counters into a stretch muffler suplex. Slamovich isn’t done yet and comes back with an avalanche Death Valley driver. Both women counter a slew of moves and Slamovich hits a huge Piledriver to win.

Winner: and still champion; Masha Slamovich

After the match, As Slamovich is celebrating the lights go red in the arena and we see the return her MK Ultra partner, Killer Kelly! She drops a steel chain at Masha Slamovich’s feet.


Santana shoved away the TNA doctor


Frankie Kazarian vs. Joe Hendry


Kaz targets the left leg of Hendry through that match, but Hendry fights through things and even manages to hit a one-legged fallaway slam. Hendry went for the Standing Ovation but is never able to pull it off as he is too inured. Kaz locks in a Chicken Wing submission and the ref ccheccks on Hendry, but Hendry keeps his arm up at the 3. Hendry fights back and sends Kaz to the corner. Hendry climbs him for the corner punches, but Kaz slipped down and chops Hendry’s injured leg. Kaz with a roll up and puts his feet on the ropes for leverage to win.

Winner: Frankie Kazarian


Stone tris to bribe Cardona with an envelope of cash. Cardona accepts the cash….

Eric Young is banned from the building after his attack on a fan on TNA iMPACT! last night. As he leaves, Young crosses paths with Sami Callihan and they just stare each other down.


TNA World Tag Team Championship: Nic Nemeth & Ryan Nemeth (c) vs, The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)


Ryan is being beat down by The Rascalz, but Nic with the save as he shoves Wentz off the turnbuckles. The Nemeths double-teamed Trey with a Danger Zone from Nic and a Hollywood Ending from Ryan for the win.

Santino Marella vs. Robert Stone


The winner will be the TNA Director of Authority. Matt Cardona was special guest referee and even though he accepted the money earlier, he calls the match down the middle. Arianna Grace is in Marella’s corner while Tessa Blanchard and Victoria Crawford are in Stone’s corner. The two men battle through the crowd, but Blanchard and Crawford get involved giving Stone the momentum. Marella gains control back and is ready for The Cobra, but Blanchard takes it off his hand and runs away. Stone gets Marella down and goes for a pin with his feet on the ropes, but Cardona refuses to count. Cardona pushes Stone into a roll up from Marella. Stone has had it and wants to hit Marella with his badge, but Cardona stops it. Crawford hits Marella with the Axe Kick but it’s only good for a 2-count. Stone with a low blow for a 2.9-count. Stone goes to the top rope and Grace trips him and hands Marella another Cobra. Marella connects and gets the win to become the official Director of Authority.

After the match, Marella celebrates with Gia Miller and thanks everyone.


TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) defeated Elijah


Elijah takes a beating but is able to get momentum on his side. AJ Francis comes down to ringside to help cheat for Trick. Williams exposes one of the turnbuckles. Elijah has had it and launches himself onto Francis. In this time, Williams grabs the guitar. Williams with the guitar, but misses it. Elijah takes the guitar back, but the ref sees it and grabs it from him. This distraction allowed Williams to hit Elijah with the title belt, but Elijah kicks out at 2.9. Trick shot is evaded by Elijah, but Williams was able to push him into the exposed turnbuckle. Trick Shot knee for the win.
