Tiffany Nieves has been shining in the National Wrestling Alliance as “La Princesa” and has proven she can hang with the best. She faces a tough test against Big Mama and wants to claim the NWA Women’s Television Championship. Will this be the night that proves to fans she will Get It, Got It?
If not, Mama will make sure she is not Bueno after tonight.
We come to you from the PowerrrStation at the WEDU Studios in Tampa, FL. Joe Galli, Billy Corgan, and Danny Dealz have the call. Your First Match of the Night is a..
Triple Threat Match for the NWA World Women’s Championship: Kenzie Paige(c) vs. Amber Nova vs. Carolina Cruz
Nova has been around the Florida indies and even had moments in the spotlight in IMPACT!, NXT, and AEW. “The Havana Savage” Cruz is relatively new, having trained at the WWE Performance Center.
The champ is feeling overconfident at the beginning until Cruz and Nova combine forces and give Paige a double suplex. That works for a second until both try to pin and pull the other off their cover attempt. Now Paige rolls out, and Cruz and Nova go after each other. Nova hits a springboard crossbody, and Cruz counters with a suplex to a bridge for a cover until Paige breaks the count. Cruz trips up Paige and grounds her with a side headlock, and the Havana Savage is on fire. Nova gets in the mix for a pin, but Cruz breaks it up and gives her a boot to the midsection. She hits the Pit Stop finisher (Full Nelson slam), and Nova comes back with a high-rise DDT. Things look to be going her way until Paige delivers a Kenzie Cutter to make an emphatic statement.
Your Winner, and Still NWA Women’s World Champion: Kenzie Paige
First time Paige went to work against two combatants, and makes the case for why she holds The Burke in the NWA.
Now, for something different, it’s a new segment called Aron Stevens: In His Own Words. This episode is titled “Humble Beginnings,” and Stevens goes over his accomplishments in wrestling, as well as his relationship with his parents. He explains that “they show their love by, you know, a certain check every month that gets deposited and and I think that’s all we really need to say. And you know what, if I miss a Christmas or two or three or four, it doesn’t matter. Because, you know what, I will always be their son in a very real and legally binding sense.”
William Patrick Corgan, the National Wrestling Alliance owner, acknowledges his role in Stevens’ career, noting his value as a business asset despite his challenging persona. Or as he put it, “Now you might wonder why, if I sign his checks and I animate this creature to climb up out of the depths that he climbs up out of, why I would continue to do so well, I’m a business person and a showman, and in that way, Aaron is good for business. I hate to say it.”
Stevens admits that wrestling became his outlet for unfulfilled dreams of being a horse jockey since he’s too big, and his role in the wrestling world.
Hey, this is more entertaining than The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, and no one has gone to jail…yet.
Speaking of entertaining, your next match is for the…
NWA World Tag Team Championship: Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch(c) vs. The Slimeballz (Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant)
Fans in Tampa chant for The Slimeballz, and we find out this happened because of a show in Dallas where Knox fought both Rant and Chantz without Murdoch, due to travel issues. Knox was pinned and agreed to give The Slimeballz two chances for the title.
And now you know the rest of the story.
In any case, Rant and Murdoch start, and he blows a loogie on his chest. Murdoch takes him to the woodchipper and hits a Full Nelson Slam, followed by a swinging neckbreaker. Tag to Knox, and after a double chop, he continues the beatdown on Rant. Murdoch and Knox put on a tag clinic and show fans why they’re the NWA World Tag champs. Finally, he tags in Chantz and gets a dropkick in before running into a spinebuster by Murdoch. One Sky High powerbomb later, and Chantz is finished off.\
Your Winners via Pinfall, and still NWA World Tag Team Champions: Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch
As Rant carries Chantz out, he grabs a mic from Kyle Davis at ringside and says they have one more chance at the titles. For reasons unbeknown, The Slimeballs cash in their rematch. Once again, Rant fires away with punches, but Knox nails him with a running crossbody. The beatings continue until Rant hits a lawbreaker and gets Chantz in. Now he and Murdoch…I’ll be charitable and say “slug it out”, and by that I mean Chantz just gets bounced around the ring like the second coming of Spike Dudley. He flails away until Murdoch gives him a gutwrench suplex and covers for a count of two. Knox and Murdoch set up for their high/low finisher and connect, but all of a sudden, the ref calls for the bell. The champs are perplexed until they hear the decision is the result of them not hearing the ref signal for the five count, and because they failed to answer his commands, that means…
Your Winner via Disqualification: Sage Chantz and Tommy Rant
Of course, the titles don’t change in a DQ, but Knox and Murdoch are not happy with the decision, and the ref beats a hasty retreat.
We get another Decision 2025 update, as we learn that Pastor C-Lo from Exodus Pro has taken a commanding lead for the presidency of the NWA Territory system. However, Joe Cazana from NWA Southeast-JCP Productions is not far behind in the campaign, but he overtakes Kenzie Paige, who is in third in the campaign, and this may be due to some “promises” he made. Murdoch withdrew his candidacy, and Bryan Idol is in dead last place, even though he thinks the polls are “dumb”.
Next week, Cazana, C-Lo, and Paige will meet in a live debate on their campaign promises.
Funny how wrestling is where I can actually see anything resembling democracy anymore.
Sigh!
But now for a dark match that is happening, it’s…
“Slick” Nic Swift vs. Boz
Swift has mostly wrestled for Negdog Championship wrestling and is making his debut in the NWA. Boz is no stranger, but it has been a while since we’ve seen him on a Powerrr episode. Swift showed some signs of offense, but this is the Boz show. Faster than I could find a good squash recipe, a TKO by Boz finishes this match in a flourish.
Your Winner via Pinfall: Boz
Now for the Main Event, and it is for the…
NWA World Women’s Television Championship: Big Mama(c) vs. ‘La Princesa’ Tiffany Nieves
Mama, who has held the title since October 18th last year at an NWA Chicago show, opted to waive the TV time limit, and as soon as the bell rings, she is womanhandling La Princesa and jaw jacking the challenger. Nieves tries to get in some offense but can’t get anything going early in the match, and Mama knocks her down to the mat. As she picks her up, Nieves hits a lawbreaker and goes from behind to lock in a sleeper hold. Mama struggles for breath and backs her to the corner turnbuckles to break the submission. She finally throws Nieves off after some exertion, and Mama covers for a two count. She gets the champ with a shot to the bread basket and targets her throat, and Mama answers back by clubbing away at her arm/shoulder.
Nieves cuts corners and still targets her throat and neck. Mama sets up for a choke slam, and Nieves manages to hit a dropkick counter and goes back to the sleeper hold. The ref raises the arm twice, and on the third time, Mama falls back into a slam and then…
Ads (I got no time to complain about it today. Maybe next week I will, but not today)
We come back, and Nieves is finally in control, blatantly choking the champ but can’t put her away. She gets Mama in the corner and hammers away with back elbows. Out to the center of the ring, and Mama gives her a front slam. She goes for a leg drop, and Nieves rolls away in the nick of time. She comes back with a knee drop and attempts another, but again Nieves rolls away. As Mama clutches her knee, Nieves smells blood and cinches the Royal C (a Texas cloverleaf), and Mama taps out from the pain.
Your Winner, And New NWA World Women’s Television Champion: Tiffany Nieves
This is Nieves’ first title in the NWA proper, and she celebrates her win as the fans boo her.
We end the show with another Aron Stevens: In His Own Words, this time titled “Community Services.” Stevens claims he is one of the greatest wrestling managers of all time, while Corgan generously lists him at “eleven” of the top ten managers. Bryan Idol says he’s a six, which is not good but still okay. Jeremiah Plunkett thinks he’s the bees’ knees, and and Casron Drake remarks, “Manager? I hardly met her.”
Ha! Comedy.
But Stevens closes it out by saying, “The one word people will associate with Aron Stevens is: hope.”

Final Thoughts:
Aside from the Stevens vignettes, Big Mama/Nieves was a good main event, and I’d like to see La Princesa carry the title for a while. While I don’t understand The Slimeballz at times, I’m not bored by their antics.
With that, see ya next Tuesday!
