On the third night of NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors, Kosei Fujita has taken over first place in A Block by defeating Hiromu Takahashi. In B Block there is a three-way tie for first place with Mao, Nick Wayne and Robbie Eagles. Wayne stunned the crowd by beating veteran El Desperado.

Ryusuke Taguchi versus Titan

Taguchi readies his butt attack in a corner. When he spins around Titan rolls him up for the pin.

Winner: Titan

Ninja Mack versus Francesco Akira

Ninja Mack climbs to the top rope. Akira meets him there. Akira gives him a hurricanrana. Mack lands on his feet, sorta. Akira clobbers him from behind with a Fireball knee strike for the pin.

Winner: Francesco Akira

Kevin Knight versus Robbie Eagles

Knight charges at Eagles. Eagles dodges. Knight is knocked over the ropes to the apron. Knight goes for a springboard move but just lands in the middle of the ring. Eagles rolls him up for a two count. Eagles knocks Knight senseless with a super kick to the head.

Winner: Robbie Eagles

Kushida versus Robbie X

Robbie hits Kushida with a stunner off the ropes. He hits a splash off the top rope for the win.

Winner: Robbie X

Mao versus Taiji Ishimori

Mao scores a massive upset with a super kick and his running lariat off the ropes.

Winner: Mao

Clark Connors versus Yoshinobu Kanemaru

The fight goes to the floor with Connors pulling that tire from under the ring again. He tried to hit Kanemaru but he pulls a Young Lion in the way. Connors hits the Lion and then Kanemaru in the gut. Kanemaru grabs Connors by the trunks heaving him into the fifth row. Kanemaru holds onto the bottom rope as Connors attempts to pull him back outside. Kanemaru kicks Connors off. He lands in the third row and is counted out.

Winner: Yoshinobu Kanemaru

Yoh versus Sho

Sho pushes the official into Yoh. He throws Yoh to the floor where Yujiro Takahashi is on the floor waiting with his cane in hand. Yoh stops The Tokyo Pimp but Evil low-blows him from behind. Yoh fights off Sho and his wrench with a jumping knee to the face. As Evil and Yujiro enter the ring, Yoh pulls the ropes up crotching them. Kanemaru appears spitting whiskey in Yoh’s face. Kanemaru and Sho hit Yoh in the head at the same time with their whiskey bottle and wrench. Sho pins Yoh with Shock Arrow.

Master Wato versus Dragon Dia

Wato wins with his chicken wing slam.

Winner: Master Wato

El Desperado versus Nick Wayne

Wayne slips out of Numero Dos. He hits Wayne’s World and pins Desperado with the Canadian Destroyer.

Winner: Nick Wayne

Hiromu Takahashi versus Kosei Fujita

Fujita wins with the Thrill Ride finisher.
