Report: NXT Europe coming this year

PWInsider is reporting that after being delayed for years NXT Europe will be debuting later this year.

Word is that the WWE has been putting the pieces together behind the scenes including signing various talents to the brand with the plan to launch the brand later in 2025.

As a sub-brand of NXT, NXT UK was put on an indefinite hiatus in 2022 with promises to evolve it into NXT Europe.

It was reported at the time that Endeavor’s purchase of the WWE stalled the plans for NXT Europe.

Some of the NXT UK stars were absorbed into NXT with some moving to the main roster like Tyler Bate and Pete Dunn.

Their last big event was NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II featuring champion Walter (Gunther) versus Joe Coffey for the WWE United Kingdom Championship.
