The BOSJ morphed into an episode of Cobra Kai at Best of the Super Juniors night nine.
It was car tires versus…ninja stars?!?!?!…as brawler Clark Connors took on the agile Ninja Mack. Mack offered to shake Connors hand before the match. Connors looked at Mack with distain. Mack tried one his flips and Connors just head butted him in mid-air. Mack made the mistake of bailing out to the floor. Connors bounced his head off the ring and whipped him through seven rows of chairs. The official demanded Connors take the action back to the ring where it belonged.
Connors walked away pulling his car tire out from under the ring. As he went to his Mack with it, Mack chopped him in the stomach causing Connors to drop the tire. Mack leaned Connors up against the ring delivering a double chop. Connors reacted by shouting a word that rhymes with “duck”. Connors fired back with a chop of his own knocking Mack to the floor. Connors planned to throw Mack into a steel post. Mack reversed that sending Connors to eat some steel instead.
“You want wheels? What about stars?” Mack asked the fans in attendance.
Mack pulled out a ninja star (shuriken) threatening to throw it at Connors. He did toss a few which Connors avoided. They hit and stuck into the apron of the ring instead.
“No! No! No! Not in front of me, please!” yelled out Walker Stewart.
Mack reached under the ring retrieving a pair of nunchucks (nunchaku). Connors picked up the car tire using it as a shield. One shot got through though knocking the tire out of his hands. Mack whacked Connors with the nunchaku right in the chest. Connors whipped the tired into Mack’s chest. All the while the official is just watching all of this happen from inside the ring. I guess if someone whipped out nunchaku I would stay the hell out of the way too.
Back in the ring, Mack would miss a twisting splash. Connors would pin Mack with a spear and a No Chaser.
