The legal troubles for Billy Jack Haynes are mounting.
Charged with murdering his wife, Janette Becraft, Haynes, 71, is now being accused of elder abuse and is being sued by her estate.
The lawsuit alleges that “for five years leading up to her death she was the victim of repeated mental, physical and financial abuse”.
The estate is seeking a $750,000 judgment.
The suit claims that Haynes not only ended all contact with her family but manipulated her into marrying him, drained her retirement funds and introduced her to heroin and meth.
A few weeks ago, Haynes was declared unfit to stand trial at the present time.
