Matt Cardona is the self-proclaimed “Indy God,” but he might also be the God of wrestling merchandise. Cardona and his Major Wrestling Figure Podcast crew are responsible for a plethora of wrestling figures, trading cards, and shirts, but that doesn’t stop him from seeking out new merch opportunities when available.

Cardona is the first pro wrestler to strike a deal with Saturday Morning Cards, “A brand that aims to capture the nostalgia of the good old days when Saturday mornings were filled with watching cartoons, playing with toys and video games and just being a kid. With a focus on retro brands combined with modern designs, SMC creates limited edition collectible art in the form of trading cards that perfectly capture that Saturday morning experience again.”

Some of Saturday Morning Cards’ existing brands, or “fandoms,” include Street Fighter 2, Dick Tracy, Popeye, Terminator, and Winnie the Pooh, and now Cardona is their first wrestling product. Saturday Morning Cards is now selling an officially licensed 2025 SMC Matt Cardona Card with a premium magnetic box, enclosed in a one touch trading card protector.

This trading card release will have four different possible artworks, titled INDY GOD, STILL HERE, DEATHMATCH KING, and THE COMPLETE, with each artwork having different serial numbered parallels as follows: Black /1, Gold /10, Ice Silver /50, Stars /100, and Silver (not numbered).

According to Saturday Morning Cards, this is a very limited product, with 100 autographs included randomly in this release, hand signed by Cardona. Each trading card sells for $30, and they start shipping on May 30, 2025, so order yours now, before they sell out.
