AAA Mega Champion Alberto El Patron had to be restrained by security after assaulting El Hijo del Vikingo’s father during a live television appearance in Mexico.
El Patron was a guest on TV Azteca’s morning show Venga La Alegria when Vikingo’s father interrupted him.
On the show, El Patron explained that he was genetically created to be a wrestler. He put down Vikingo as an unworthy challenger. He is a like a dog chasing a car. In the end, the dog cannot do anything and looks stupid doing so.
Vikingo cut a promo via video and his father appeared on set and that angered El Patron. He accused him of stealing his spotlight. He attacked him.

El Patron ripped the shirt off Vikingo’s dad and began pummeling him. Security pulled El Patron off but not before he kicked him in the ribs.
A furious El Patron was ordered off the set. He continued to smash furniture before being escorted away.
El Patron will defend his AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo this weekend but in the promotional material for the upcoming WWE/AAA Worlds Collide event it was announced that El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable will battle for the AAA Mega Championship. It is assumed that Vikingo may win the championship this weekend.
