At AAA’s Alianzas event last night El Hijo Del Vikingo did what the WWE predicted he would do. He won the AAA Mega Championship from in Mexico City.
In the match, Vikingo grabbed a guitar to clobber champion Alberto El Patron but El Patron ducked punching Vikingo in the “lower abdomen”.
Patron powerbombed Vikingo through a table set up in a corner. Vikingo’s dad got his revenge for El Patron attacking him on that morning show on Friday. He smashed the guitar over El Patron’s head. Vikingo pinned him with a 630 splash.
On last Monday’s edition of Raw Chad Gable confronted and clocked El Hijo del Vikingo who was sitting as a “special guest” at ringside.
Later, Vikingo ran into Gable in the back. They traded pleasantries and their match at Worlds Collide was announced.
In some markets, the graphic showed it as a match for the AAA Mega Championship meaning Vikingo would be winning.
