Since its red hot start on January 6th of this year the ratings, numbers for Raw on Netflix have steadily declined.
This week’s show not only marks the lowest viewed episode to date but also the lowest hours viewed.
Monday’s episode had 2,600,000 views and 4,800,000 hours viewed. That’s 100,000 less views than last week and 200,000 less hours viewed.
It is clear that viewership has plateaued while engagement is still steadily declining. Since the debut with 5.9 million views and 17.7 million hours viewed, the views and watch time have basically been cut in half.
Back in January, each viewer watched about 3 hours of the show. This week’s episode averaged 1.85 hours per viewer. It now appears that viewers are tuning in and could be turning off the show halfway through or only watching certain segments and skipping the rest. The engagement definitely isn’t mirroring the viewership.
The good news, if you see it that way, is that viewership for Raw has flatlined during the last few weeks after steadily declining since the premiere. Although the bleeding has stopped Raw does risk falling out of Netflix’s Top 10 global rankings if the numbers continue to drop.
